(Please close PalaceChat and back up your prop folder before installing.
It is located in your Documents folder, named "PropBag.bundle".)

Important Windows Notes:

  This is a major update that rewrites a significant amount of legacy
  internal code (over 10 years old), so you may run into the occasional
  bug along the way.

  Since our internal web engine has been updated, features like YouTube
  players, embedded games, Netflix, and other web-based rooms are
  working again.

  In the coming days the full Windows version will land on this beta
  branch, bringing new props, the in app translator, and other tools we
  have been building, free for the community we love.


Important macOS Notes:

  This is the first native macOS port of PalaceChat, with 100% feature
  parity with the Windows version. Scripts, embeds, games, and props
  all work without needing Parallels or any other virtualization tool
  to run the Windows build.

  All platforms stay in lockstep, so every new feature shipped on
  Windows also lands on the Mac side.


Important Linux Notes:

  We are happy to announce that our native, 100% compatible Linux
  version is coming to beta in the next few weeks. It is already fully
  functional in internal testing.


If you encounter a bug:

  1. Check back here first to see if a newer beta is already available
     that fixes it.
  2. The fastest way to let us know is the built-in report tool:
     pick Help > Report a Bug from the PalaceChat menu. It attaches a
     short anonymous log of recent activity (no chat messages, no
     passwords, no personal info) and sends it to us in one click.
  3. If you prefer the traditional way, email
     alexandra@elitepalaces.com with a description of the problem,
     screenshots if possible, and the steps to reproduce it.
